Indspire is an Indigenous-led registered charity that invests in the education of Indigenous people for the long term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.

Is is their vision to enrich Canada through Indigenous education and by inspiring achievement. In partnership with Indigenous, private and public sector stakeholders, Indspire educates, connects and invests in Indigenous people so they will achieve their highest potential.

Indspire is led by Indigenous people for Indigenous people. They serve First Nation, Inuit, and Métis students in remote communities and urban centres across Canada. With the support of our funding partners, Indspire disburse financial awards, deliver programs, and share resources with the goal of closing the gap in Indigenous education

Indspire’s K-12 Institute is a virtual resource centre that serves educators, communities, and other stakeholders who are committed to improving kindergarten to grade 12 success for Indigenous youth.

In 2015-16, Indspire awarded over $12.2 million through 3,792 scholarships and bursaries to Indigenous students across Canada.

The Indspire Awards, are an annual nationally broadcasted celebration of the successes achieved by Indigenous people. Look out for this years awards on March 24th 2017!

Selected by the Financial Post as one of Canada’s Top 25 Charities worthy of a donation in 2014 and in 2015 and rated as a Four-Star Charity by Charity Intelligence Canada.
